I’m not much of a live streamer since I do this hunt while I’m doing other things since it keeps me more entertained and motivated. I also don’t have a computer so I have to benefit from an iPhone or iPad. Never thought about really needing a computer unless I think of actually doing UA-cam. But either way I’m still doing the hunt regardless on if it counts on the official race or not. I don’t like hacking my consoles and playing pirated or emulated games since I’m a collector of physical media and don’t like when my things get banned. There are people on Twitter that tell me why I don’t just emulate my games and it gets annoying. I’d rather play my games officially. Even if I ever plan to actually mod a Wii U or 3DS I would only do it to get back online not to cheat in video games. It doesn’t make it fun for anyone but yourself doing that. I could try to film my reaction to it if I can film on my phone in time but you can’t really predict when the shiny decides to pop up. Nonetheless, I wish you and everybody who participates in the event good luck

Hello, this is just a question that has nothing to do with this hunt, but I want to ask this here since I know you're far more knowledgeble in obscure shiny hunting. In XY, there are trash cans that reset once a week/day, and they have a chance to have pokemon in them (rotom, banette, trubbish or garbodor). I only found a youtuber called "Undo2Redo Pokemon" find shiny rotom and banette 8 years ago. My question is: has shiny trubbish or garbodor ever been found this way? This is also the only way to find these pokemon in Xy. This isn't a really hard hunt either, I think it would be cool if someone got them.

Bro that's so wrong. You get far more shinies in Arceus by actually facing Pokemon. as someone who completed their live shiny dex in Arceus and on their way into Swsh and SV, this is waaaaaay wrong. it's so much more fun interacting with the world of Arceus than any other. Outbreaks and the ability to see shinies made it a blast. Shiny hunting is ALWAYS a grind no matter the game. Arceus made it the most fun and least stressful grind.

That's why Arceus was king. it's interactive.

I don't think I remember this game having a demo,after people leaked the entire game after ethier sword and shield or sun and moon (can't remember honestly) I thought gamefreak stopped demos permanently after that,so just knowing there's a demo for let's go pikachu and eevee is surprising enough for me,good luck on the shiny pikachu hunt

I think the lets go pikachu & eevee demo on the e-shop is supported by pkhex. So mabey if found on the right system it could be keeped

Congrats Misty ^^ Although it makes me think, is Pikachu actually shiny locked while Eevee isn’t? I’ll take the challenge to find a Shiny Pikachu though, but if it’s a third Eevee that might be the case. That Pikachu is correctly shiny locked and it’s only Eevee that is shiny huntable
